The UK's Data Protection Regulations in the UK now harmonise with all legislation across the EU. Those of you who have signed up for our Bute Noir newsletter, know that we hold some of your personal information.
We have three ways of gathering your data. They are forms that you choose to fill in (or not!) One is a contact form, the second is a newsletter form and the third is our Feedback form.
The information on the contact form is used for no other purpose than to communicate with you about your query. It is not added to our newsletter database. Your data is not stored for any other purpose.
The newsletter form DOES add you to our newsletter database.
The Feedback form DOES mean that you will be added to our mailing list form.
Your name and email is held online in a database at our email marketing supplier (currently Mailerlite). Their security conforms to international standards.
This online information is regarded as confidential and accessible only Alison Cross (webby) and Craig Robertson (Bute Noir Director).
Information is only used for direct mailing to members, and not for any other purpose.If you no longer want to be contacted by us, you will need to hit the ‘unsubscribe me’ button at the foot of any of our newsletters or complete ‘contact us’ form on this website and Alison Cross will manually remove your data.
Under no circumstances do we share your details with any other organisation. Your privacy is important to us. We’ll never pass your details on to any other party. Ever.
